Reimplemented the website in Next.js, moving from the previous HTML-and-CSS implementation to a React-based application.

Microburbs: from HTML and CSS to Next.js
Rebuilt the existing HTML and CSS website with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, alongside my separate work on the company’s automated valuation models.
01 / THE PROBLEM
What needed to work.
The Microburbs website was implemented in HTML and CSS. This project rebuilt the website using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for the property-research platform.
02 / MY APPROACH
How I approached it.
Use TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
Used TypeScript for the application code and Tailwind CSS for styling as part of the new frontend stack.
Work across frontend and modelling
Alongside the website rebuild, worked on the company’s automated valuation models. The AVM improvements, confidence estimates, and measured outcomes are documented in a separate case study.

The core contribution was the frontend rebuild. The old property-reports page and current website are linked below so visitors can explore both. AVM results belong to the modelling work and are not presented as outcomes of the website migration.
